UPDATE!!!

 Here ye!  Pay heed to the words of the great Emperor Karl Franz!  Ok, not really but here it goes...

I know it has been a while since we updated.  But, with the tragic passing of Caleb’s eldest daughter Abby, we had postponed the campaign.  Our sincere sympathies and thoughts continue to go out to Caleb and his family.

Now that Caleb is ready to get rolling again, we are going to hold a meeting to discuss the campaign, rules, house rules, eat some pizza, and talk about upcoming events.  Tenatively this will be the evening of Friday, December 16, 2011.  (Please note if there are any conflicts for anyone, I realize this is a busy time of year.)

We plan on actually commencing the campaign (how is that for alliteration?!) sometime in January.  

Please voice your opinion on game nights by leaving a comment below, so the campaign team can decide frequency and schedule.

Option 1 – We meet once a month, with alternating hobby and gaming nights.  (For example, January hobby night, February game night…etc..)

Option 2 – We meet twice a month, once for game night, once for hobby night.

Option 3 – We meet once a month to game, no hobby nights.

Option 4 – Combine game and hobby nights into one night, and divde in to two teams with Team A playing while Team B hobbies, and then switch once Team A finishes playing. 

Option 5 – Combine game and hobby nights and allow for decide among ourselves who plays and who hobbies. 

Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Now, as far as the ship building goes, how is everyone coming on their boats?  I still haven’t started mine, I wanted to get a good sizeable force painted for my Empire army.  (No excuses! – ed.)

We will be utilizing the ships in the fourth scenario of the campaign, so we have plenty of time.

Until then,  I will be working on finishing my spearmen.
